At TechEd 2005, I attended a great Birds of a Feather session, Taking Your Product to Market, presented by Todd Follansbee and Sara Faatz, two marketing gurus.  This turned out to be a great session with lots of info and tips.  I walked away with three pages of notes!  This is targeted to anyone who has that great idea or product/tool in the works who would like to take it to the next level and market the product for a profit.

And AC sent me this great article today that is along the same vein... 'The Game is Afoot' by Eric Sink.  It is all about ISVs and marketing.  GREAT READ

    Heather,
I am so glad you enjoyed the BoF session. I have offered to give it again in Boston but unless there is sufficient interest, it won't happen.
If you feel so inclined, you may wish to vote for it and possibly suggest that others do the same. The voting ends Friday Tomorrow!!

    Here is the link
Reminder: your Birds of a Feather session proposal is available for public voting until Friday.at: https://www.msteched.com/cfp/bofvoting.aspx

I have also offered to host another one. In the past year I have discovered some new techniques for easily building and supporting the dreaded help documentation side of software dev. I would love to discuss and share these aids in an open forum and help some folks make it easier to get theirs done as well.
What do you think of this other session?
