I have finally dumped NewsGator.  It had grown into a far larger frustration than I cared to deal with.  It is a shame too because I really liked the integration with Outlook, but I was receiving a TON of duplicate feeds on a daily basis.  I really like all you guys, but I don't want to be delivered your post 17 times.  It had gotten to the point where I was sorting my feeds by date so I could always go first thing and whack out old ones (often would account for over 50% of my unread feed count).  Sprinkle in some feeds that would get sent days after posting and I said later gator.

I played with Google's new aggregator and it was ok.  It is in its infancy and I bet future versions will be better.  Right now if you are new to blogs and starting to keep up with feeds it would be ok, or if you need to set up your mama with some feeds it would work, but for any power feed reader it sucks.  The process to categorize your feeds is slooooow and if you are importing a feed list you will be there till Christmas trying to organize everything.

So then I tried RSS Bandit. Other than getting several dup posts the first day, it has been running pretty good. I would like to see custom flagging so I can set up my own flag system, and I don’t like that it is a separate application (I like stuff condensed) but I have been rather happy with it. So I am a bandit now. Hee hee.

    Have you tried intraVnews? http://www.intravnews.com/

It's much better than NG and you can continue to enjoy integration with Outlook. :)

I'm using Newsgator now as I prefer to be able to get my feeds from anywhere (via the web interface). I was using RSS Bandit and it's really nice (the code is very clean and well designed).

Might switch batch to it but going to check out intraViews that Maurice mentioned first. Outlook integration is good so that's a plus.

The only thing that intra doesn't have compared to NG is the web ui and sync capability. I don't particularly care for such a feature set, but it is something worth considering for some.

I use newsgator but I am definately no happy with the bloated beast it turns Outlook into.

I have tried several as well but I just cannot seem to break away from Newsgator just yet. :)
