First off, thanks to everyone who attended my sessions and who stopped by the SharePoint Experts booth and said hello. I got to meet a lot of people last week and it is very exiciting to see the huge interest in SharePoint branding.  Thank you so much for all of the positive feedback and comments.  Last week was a great week, if you didn't make it, be sure to try to go next year.  :-)

I have posted my slide decks from my two presentations on my Speaking page, and below are direct links to download the ZIP files.  I will be presenting my Intro to Branding session again at TechEd 2008 Developer Conference, and a version of it at the TechEd 2008 IT Professional Conference.

Cheers!

Great presentations! I enjoyed the sessions, they were prescriptive and full of great ideas.

Nice slides. I couldn't agree more with the last bit of advice. That is, "buy a good CSS book". To be really effective at re-branding SP, one should have a black-belt understanding of CSS. And like a lot of other developers (as opposed to designers), I really only have a so-so understanding of the nuances.

Given that there are about 10 million choices for CSS books, can you recommend a good one? One that is sufficiently in-depth? More filling - less fluff?

And while I have your ear, I'd like to thank you for the resources that you've posted on your blog. I've almost completed a fairly good-sized branding effort for a client and this blog made the task SO much easier.

Now...get back to work on that SPD book. :-)

I believe your sessions and Andrew Connell's sessions were the most helpful at the conference.

    Thanks again for the information!

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for the slides, though I didn't attend the presentation but the slides were great.

If you don't mind me asking. I would like to know more on the content page customization and design. How to get it customized? Please share your expertize on this. Thanks in advance

can you please guide me as to how can I create custom page layouts in wss 3.0? I can create page layouts easily in MOSS but in wss there are only the out of the box layouts and there is no provision to add on to it.
